Description
Award winning over the years, Pinot Nero which for Franz Haas is “the white among the reds”, is a changing interplay of colours which, influenced greatly by the vintage, can go from a light ruby to an intense ruby red. The bouquet opens with notes of black cherries and raspberries, marzipan and plum jam, cloves and cinnamon, ending finally with aromas of underbrush. In the mouth the wine is fresh and lively, bolstered by elegant tannins which render it harmonious and round, promising a noticeable pleasantness while drinking.
This wine differ from others with his sophisticated elegant characteristics, exhibits an intense bouquet of red berries, cherries and wild berries which makes it easy to accompany to a wide variety of dishes.
The wine develops in barriques for over a year, and after bottling for a few months in the bottle.
